李谷一的“乡恋”从词、曲和演唱都很完美。所以，我重填词就画蛇添足了。不过有时即兴的创作只为一些乐趣；再说也能表达一些我的经历：我总是费了很多口舌解释我是哪儿的人，有时我想偷懒，直接说我的老家就是我现在生活的城市，对方立马说那你怎么不说XX话，我没辙，又一番解释-----懒还真偷不了。 

父亲的老家是沿海的一个小山村，那盛产蜜桔。父亲说他小时候的梦想就是想看看山那边的世界，有趣的是那时一个英国水手从外边的世界走进了那个闭塞的山村：他在那儿教英文。后来父亲真的走到了外边。父亲说，每次离开家乡，祖父会带他拜村口的石人---他们叫他“吉大人”，父亲的家乡话中，桔=吉。我从未去过的老家早已淹没在人工的水库下…

** a foreign friend of mine told me he ever use “la” to memorize “1^st sound”

thank you so much. it would be my great pleasure and honor to meet friends there, including you. i think i will someday. actually it's your messege yesterday about that we should paste more Chinese songs here gave me the inspirations. and when talking about hometown, it came upon to my mind this song: xianglian, which i love much
