California has a very strict rule about cut-off date for entering school. My younger daughter is 1.5 hours late. We talked to different principles about this issue one or two years ago. It didn't work. Previously she should be the eldest student in her classroom. Now she should be the youngest one.
On Tuesday, she complained to the teachers that the class was boring. Her teachers paid some attentions and quizzed her some simple maths and reading, and decided to put her to the second grade.
