Very impressed analysis! I used to have comments on that LUST< CAUTION story, I just think a novel is a novel, combined lots sources. Defenietely the Hu invoved lots in that story.

For human being, GOOD, BAD is on the hold of people, for Hu, only those special ladies will like to be his mates because after those journeies, good, bad, rebels... will no longer be a problem, to live happily everyday is the doctrine. Just look the good sides of people will make life much easily.
